Quick Start
Start using LiveCUT in just a few steps after installation:
- Launch vMix and the LiveCUT application.
- In LiveCUT, go to settings and assign the corresponding vMix inputs for Cameras 1-3 and Microphones 1-2.
- Check and if necessary, adjust the "Sound Threshold" (dB) for each microphone to match the speech level. Other timings can be left at default for now.
- Click the "AUTO" button in the main LiveCUT window to enable automatic mode.
Done! LiveCUT will start analyzing sound and automatically switching cameras in vMix.

How to get your Hardware ID (HWID)?
Run the LiveCUT.HwidTool utility, which is installed with the main application. Your HWID will be automatically copied to the clipboard.
How to install the received license file?
Place the license file (usually with the .lic
extension) in the folder where the LiveCUT application is installed (the same location as LiveCUT.exe
). Restart the application.
What are the system requirements for LiveCUT?
LiveCUT requires Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and vMix version 24 or higher installed. It's also recommended to have a sufficiently powerful processor for delay-free audio analysis.
Switching happens too frequently/rarely. What can I do?
Adjust the "Sound Threshold" (dB) values for each microphone and the timing parameters (Pre-Attack

Can I use LiveCUT with one microphone?
The current version is designed to work with two microphones for switching between two speakers and a wide shot. Working with a single microphone is not officially supported and may result in incorrect switching.
What should I do if I switch a camera manually in vMix while LiveCUT is in "AUTO" mode?
LiveCUT will automatically detect manual intervention and switch to "MANUAL" mode to avoid interfering. To re-enable automatic mode, click the "AUTO" button in the LiveCUT interface.
